JaKo, Inc. is a small family farm dedicated to producing the highest quality food possible. For years, the American trend has been to buy food as cheaply as possible and ignore the harmful health consequences. Conversely, we strive to raise the healthiest food possible and sell it a price that is sustainable for us so that quality food is available to others.
JaKo, Inc. got its name from the two individuals who started the corporation: Judith Ann and Kenneth Oliver King.
The JaKo, Inc. logo is comprised of many elements describing the farm and family values. The blue jay plays on the first syllable of the company name, combined with a symbol of the poultry operation. The gear surrounding the blue jay represents the mechanical manufacturing element of JaKo, Inc. The less obvious white dove within the blue jay represents the family’s strong Christian faith and values, along with a commitment to peace.
