Family

Kenneth and Judy have been married for 35 years. Ken is the third generation to live on the family farm. Ken works primarily with the cattle, land, and dairy production. Judy focuses on baking, cheese and gardening.


Kendra and Mark Horst live in Yoder, Kansas where they manage the Sunflower Inn, a quaint B&B in the heart of Amish Country (www.sunflowerinnofyoder.com). Kendra manages marketing operations for the farm and also coordinates the baking. Mark works for King Solar and has a pottery studio just down the road in Yoder, Kansas (www.markhorstpottery.com).


Daniel and Robyn live on adjacent property to the farm.  Daniel is primarily responsible for poultry, pork, pasture management and the fruit and berry operation.  Robyn works in Newton as a public health nurse and in her spare time helps out on the farm.


David and Haly live in Goshen, Indiana. David manages JaKo’s database and online operations and works for Goshen College in the IT department. Haly is a 7th grade math teacher at Goshen Middle School and manages the JaKo website.
