Green bean surplus
We have green beans coming out of our ears!  These all-natural beauties are in the farm store– $4 for a 1.25lb bag.  If you’d like a large quantity, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Freezer expansion in the works
Freezer space continues to be one limiting factor to our production.  This time of year, as we are in the throes of harvest, the big question is:  Will it all fit in the freezer?  Consequently, we have begun a project to double our walk-in freezer space in the next few weeks.  This will be a huge asset to the farm and to the amount of products we can provide to you!

Stories from the farm
The turkey poults that arrived this week didn’t fare so well from the heat.  When Daniel picked them up from the post office, nearly 20% of them were dead.  Fortunately, the hatchery carries insurance and we were able to be reimbursed for the loss.  The heat has also dramatically impacted milk and egg production.
