Last chicken butchering
We will be butchering the last batch of chickens on Wednesday.  If you would like fresh chicken, please let us know.

Turkey poults to arrive this week
Our turkey poults (chicks) will arrive on Tuesday– we will be raising both a heritage breed and a broad breasted, more traditional breed.  These will be available in mid-November.  Please contact us to place your order and let us know which variety you prefer.  We have not yet calculated the price as we have not raised them in quite a while.

Stories from the farm
This evening, we returned home from a family reunion in Illinois.  We appreciated time with extended family that we don’t often see, and they enjoyed JaKo food that we shared.  A big thank you to Ken’s brother, Nick, for taking care of the farm while we were gone!
