Strawberry plants a big hit
The strawberry plants went fast!  May all of you who picked some up have success in your plantings.

More babies
One day this week Daniel found baby kittens.  We knew that Snowflake had birthed a litter, but she was keeping the nest a secret.  So we add them to our list of babies along with chicks, calves, lambs and all the garden produce.

Butter and cheese
We are now getting enough milk to start making butter and cheese.  The first batches of cheese will be devoted to hot red pepper and Italian jack.  Keep watching the cooler for new additions.

Spring party
May 31... don't forget!

Stories from the farm
Baby lambs are incredibly interesting and fun to watch.  One evening there was a group of them (about half black, half white) that were just standing there jumping straight up.  It looked like popcorn.  Another evening there was a big group of them just running back and forth across the pasture.  Oh, and about the sheep guard dog-- when we turned her out with the sheep she took off and we haven't seen her since.  We are still hoping she shows up.

Healthy food for healthy living.
