Road closing
Starting March 15, the Haven Road north of Haven will be closed to replace a bridge.  For those of you coming from the southeast on Hwy 96, continue on Hwy 96 to Yoder.  Go three miles north on the Yoder Road to the Arkansas River bridge.  Immediately after the bridge, turn right onto Eales Road.  We are two miles east on Eales Road.

If you have any tendency towards addiction I would advise you not to try these.  Kendra has taken a favorite recipe and adapted it to JaKo standards-- as healthy as possible using all-natural and/or organic ingredients.  You can find them in the freezer under the breads and cookie dough.  

Stories from the farm
We have cattle on winter pasture a few miles from home, and the other day we received a phone call from a neighbor saying we had a cow out.  We jumped in the truck and went over to find a cow that we could not get close to.  She made sure to stay very far away from us.  We told the neighbor that we did not know who she belonged to, but that it was not one of ours.  Ours always come up to us thinking they will be moved to fresh pasture.  He was impressed.
