Cream cheese honey glaze
Kendra:  In a move to make the cinnamon rolls more healthy, I made a cream cheese honey glaze.  Daniel took 10 gallons of milk and made cream cheese this week, and then we started to experiment.  We developed a glaze that we all like using our JaKo cream cheese, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.  As soon as the current supply in the sales room is gone, we will start using this glaze.

Apple cider vinegar soaked cheddar
We had a customer who told us they used the apple cider vinegar soaked cheddar to make cheese fondue and it was fantastic.  Just wanted to pass that along.

March weather
Our annual mid-March cold and snowstorm came this week.  Years ago when we started milking seasonally, we calved the first of March.  I had never thought much about March storms before that; but after three years of March storms in a row, we learned and moved calving to the first of April.  We have never been sorry.


Stories from the farm
This morning (Sunday) as I was going out to chore, the sun was just coming up big bright and orange.  The song "Running and leaping and praising God" was running through my mind as I got to the chicken house.  I opened the door to let the chickens out and they came running and flying and
I thought to myself, "praising God!"
