Exciting changes for the new year
We are happy to have Kendra join JaKo beginning this year. She will be helping us continue to produce some current products as well as introducing new ones. She will also be responsible for marketing.
Because of Kendra's addition and some creative brainstorming, we are excited to introduce the following new products for 2010:
- bread (both fresh baked and frozen dough)
- cinnamon rolls (fresh baked and frozen dough)
- frozen cookie dough
- fresh strawberries
Stay tuned for other exciting things still in the brainstorming stage!
Barn remodel in process
We are also remodeling the barn behind the sales room for Mark's pottery studio. Mark specializes in functional pottery and hopes to begin production in 2-3 weeks. Next time you come to the farm, poke your head around the corner and see the progress being made!
Stories from the farm
We have several cats here on the farm to help keep the mouse population in check. This fall they have taken to sleeping in a heap on the driver's seat of our chore vehicle. At first it was a nuisance to throw out several cats before you could sit down. But as the weather turned cooler and then down right cold it has been very nice. Now when we go out to chore we sit on a heated seat. Thank you cats for your many contributions.
