Top 12 Foods for Healthy Immune Response
Dr. Mercola, a leading expert on healthy eating, came out this week with his list of top ten healthy foods.  Amazing that out of the top four products, we sell three of them (raw, all grass milk, free-range eggs, and all grass beef or lamb).

New product-- dishwasher soap
A customer who liked the laundry detergent recently asked us if we could start making dishwasher soap, so we did.  Let us know what you think. 

Baby chicks
This week we received 200 layer chicks.  Who would have known how cold it would be when we ordered several months ago but they came through the mail in flying colors.  Almost literally.  When I took them out of the box and put them in the brooder they were off exploring and looking for food and water.  Interesting to watch.  They will start laying in 5-6 months.

Cold weather
Wow, I am not a fan but the cattle and chickens seemed to take it in stride.  We had about four inches of snow which stayed all week.  The layer chickens' feed consumption went up about 20% (they stayed inside more because they hate snow) so even this time of year if they are able to be out they do quite a bit of foraging.

Stories from the farm
We had a brother-in-law pass away this week.  He was a great guy and had a strong faith in Jesus.  He will be missed.  Thanks for your prayers.
