Milk price this coming year
Fresh milk is coming... in about six weeks!  Because the price of jugs is increasing along with other inputs, the price of fresh milk will increase to $5/gallon.  We plan on keeping the rest of the dairy products the same price.

Response to the customer satisfaction questionnaire
A big thank you to all who responded to our questionnaire.  Your affirmation is deeply appreciated and humbling, and your suggestions will be taken into consideration.  Some of the highlights of the survey:
1)  There was an overwhelming amount of positive comments.  One particular comment hit me like a ton of bricks. "I can trust you because you trust me"  We are very thankful for the deep loyalty our customers have to us and our farm. Thank you.
2)  Pork is no longer a product in high demand.  Therefore, we will not be raising pigs this coming spring.  We will, however, increase egg production. (At this time, we still have pork available.  When we run out, if you are interested in purchasing pork, we can direct you to other suppliers.)
3)  We will try and keep the emails coming in the same format as they seem to be greatly appreciated!

Spring day on the farm!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 21, 2007.  We will have the usual farm tours to see the animals, pet the chicks, etc. with a chicken barbecue for lunch.  More information will follow.

Butter oil
I was surfing the web this week and discovered that butter oil is selling for $118/lb.  (Butter oil is fantastic, nutrient-dense health food.)  Since butter is roughly 50% oil, when you purchase our butter for $11/lb, you are getting a fantastic, healthy food a a very reasonable rate!  Healthy food is the bargain of the year.

If you are buying butter oil to mix with cod liver oil, try mixing cod liver oil with our butter!

New buying club location--northwest Wichita

Fats --- good? bad? confused?
Jo Robinson, who has researched fats more than anyone I know, has written an article entitled "Confused about fat?  Choose grassfed!"  It is a must-read for today's health-minded individual .  She has written several diet books and was an early proponent of my going to an all-grass dairy.  She is also a good friend of mine with valuable insight.  Her web site is www.eatwild.com
