**Farm Fresh Bi-Weekly** Sales room remodeling this week
With the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom construction complete, the final step in remodeling the barn is to enlarge and refinish the sales room. Consequently, the sales room will in utter upheaval from March 27-31. Please try to plan your trips to the farm around these dates, so we can work as quickly and efficiently as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience, but hope you will enjoy the additional space when we're finished! Place your order for fresh chicken and beef sides
We are now taking orders for fresh chicken and beef sides. Customers who order fresh chicken and pick it up on butchering day receive a discounted price per pound. We plan to butcher several times between May 13 and August 5. Beef sides are very popular, so place your order early to make sure they are available. Beef will be ready for pick-up around July 1. Wanted: egg cartons
We are running low of egg cartons. If cartons stack up at your house and create a nuisance, we will gladly re-use them! Just place them on the shelves behind the books, honey, etc in the sales room. Seeking a summer intern
Due to unfortunate circumstances, we no longer have an intern hired for this summer. Did you know that a traditional Easter meal includes leg of lamb? We have many lamb products available, including leg of lamb, that would make your Easter meal extra special. Look through our available products next time you're in the sales room! Many customers say that our lamb tastes very similar to veal. There are several good lamb recipes in the "Gourmet Grassfed" cookbook, also available in the sales room. Chicks are coming-- spring is almost here
Daniel expects to get chicks this week. That means in nine weeks, we will have fryers for sale. We are planning to double our chicken production throughout the summer to meet increased demand. To place your order for fresh chicken, send us an email. We've said goodbye to an old friend...
Our loving puppy, Maggie, died this afternoon from old age. According to Dad, Maggie had four distinct barks that communicated exactly who was coming in the driveway--the UPS man with doggy biscuits, a customer, a family member, or the neighbor with their dog.
